Clear-sighted, dedicated passionate senior qualified creative professional with over 21 years experience across all facets of brand communications, print and online media for corporate, media, not-for-profit, education and government industry sectors. Marian is at the helm of all projects and initiatives through Design Co-Create.
Experience in clarifying, substantiating and following brand strategy from setting identity design standards to building and applying visual brand infrastructure across all media including logo design; template development (business stationery, brochures, magazines, presentations, billboards, banners, displays, website design, print and digital advertising, illustration); infographic design to communicate complex ideas and data simply; key messaging and design for marketing campaigns; and animation design through storyboarding.
Facilitates design education and training through client workshops on design fundamentals and software. Brings more than 15 years experience in post-secondary teaching of visual theory, branding, typography, publication design and design software skills. Is well versed in curriculum development.
Has a natural capacity for connecting deeply with clients and brings a light-touch collaborative approach to illuminate projects and deliver inspired designs that communicate with clarity and precision.
Marian lives in Nelson, British Columbia, Canada with her partner and beloved dog Lumin where she enjoys everything that the stunning landscapes offer.
